1: Micro-Wedding Agencies

The days of massive weddings might be coming to an end. The average annual cost of a wedding rose to $30,000 in 2024—with an average of 117 guests, that’s ~$257 per guest!

Side note: in the years immediately following COVID, wedding bookings and demand for wedding services exploded. But the trend for wedding bookings is now slowing down to pre-COVID levels as we can see in this bookings/inquiries chart from Reddit user evanrphoto—a wedding photographer.

So with the rising costs of traditional weddings, and the realization that weddings don’t need to cost as much as a down payment on a house, couples are looking to get hitched more affordably.

Enter the Micro-Wedding Agency.
